Wild Turkey Habitat Training Program Available Online!
If you want to learn more about managing wild turkey habitat, consider enrolling in the online turkey habitat management training program. Led by the UF/IFAS Game Lab and the Wildlife Ecology and Land Management Lab this program will lead you through field, forest, and grassland management strategies for wild turkeys and more. - Welcome to our newest lab member! Nigel Williams begins his M. S. in SNRE this fall. 
- Congratulations to M. S. student Milo Neelands! They received a scholarship from the Florida Native Plant Society to  study the conservation of state endangered wild orchids, Broad leaf Nodding Caps.
- Welcome to the lab Morgan Wingo! She will begin her M. S. in SNRE this summer.

- Congratulations to Kathleen Carey who successfully defended her M.S. thesis titled “The Role of Microbiomes in Longleaf Pine Restoration: Methods and Outcomes”.
- M. S. student Kathleen Carey presented at the American Society of Mammologists Meeting at Purdue University this summer. Her presentation title was “Uncovering the Microbiome Behind Enigmatically Low Rodent Populations”.
